My good friend and former coworker Felicia contacted me to create a few items for a couple in San Antonio. The couple had decided not purchase flowers for their wedding to save some money. Felicia has worked in the floral industry and knows flowers give wedding ceremonies an extra element of beauty. She didn’t want the couple to go without knowing they would have purchased flowers if their budget allowed. Her solution was to offer to buy them as her gift. They accepted and here is what I created.

For the bridal bouquet I used white oriental lilies, lavender roses, pale pink ranunculus, seeded eucalyptus, and foxtail fern. I accented with silver wire and used a textured ribbon to dress the stems. For the boutonniere I kept it clean and simple. A few springs of seeded eucalyptus and a pale pink ranunculus.
