I am so excited to share images from a styled shoot I did in February. It was the week after Valentine’s day and it was cold rainy day. But, I am so happy with how everything turned out. We got lucky when the rain held off for a few hours and we were able to be outside to catch some great images of our models. The Union On Eight is a great space inside and out. Victoria did a great job on the hair and makeup – she didn’t protest to all my floral headpieces I made. Working with Alena and Holly was such a joy. I look forward to working with them in the future.
Enjoy the images. Cheers!

Another great set of images from the My Favorite Murder styled shoot. These beautiful images are from Shelley Neuman of ATX Steet Style. Wimberly was the perfect setting for this shoot and I am so trilled that everything came out so amazing.
Once again a huge thank you to all the wonderful and talented vendors that made this shoot breathtakingly fabulous!

I’m super excited to share these images with you. Last weekend I was invited out to Waters Point to provide flowers for a fantastic styled shoot. Savannah with Primrose Path Productions formed a great team to execute a My Favorite Murder theme. The collection of talented folks, great venue, and a bit of luck with mother nature holding back rain made for a fabulous experience.
Shelbi with Moonlight & Moss designed stunning dresses for model Janelle to show off. Janelle’s beau Travis was decked out in a killer three piece suite provided by Bykowski Tailor & Garb. Janelle’s soft waves and pinned back do was done by Alexis with Nova Jane. No look is complete with out the perfect lips and eyes – and Ashlyn with Pomme Salon nailed the look.
Rachel with Timeless Tablescape Designs brought awesome items to dress up the table and she found that striking red chair. I think everyone on site was obsessed with that chair! I am so delighted that my floral designs harmonized all the elements of the shoot. I really loved working with the deep moody colors. I am always captivated by ranunculus and dahlias in bouquets – they are some of my favorite blooms. I also included some deep plum almost black calla lilies and Hearts garden roses in the designs. Plus I was able to use Texas grown anemone in the perfect hues for this look. The look was not complete with out adding moss and tons of texture with a combination of different foliage and greens.
Holly and AJ with Holly Marie Photography did a stellar job at capturing the day. I love the images they directed and captured. I had such a hard time choosing my favorites. I mean just look at these pictures. They knocked it out the park! I am looking forward to see the images that Shelly at ATX Street Style snapped and the video that Savannah produces. I am on still on cloud nine.
Changes are coming in 2018. One of my goals is to service the Austin Area for daily deliveries. I will still be booking weddings and events, but I want to serve the community for all occasions. My website will soon be changing too – eCommerce to make the ordering process more streamlined and user-friendly. I plan to be more active in the community. I am excited for the experiences and developments that are ahead.
Below are images of designs I have been working on for the new website. My designs are inspired by Austin and the rapid growth that the city is experiencing. I’m evolving as a designer and I learn something new everyday. I strive to keep my designs fresh and on trend. More are in the works. I hope that those of you that follow me keep an eye out for all the changes to come.
Cheers to the start of 2018!
Sabrina & David – April 10, 2017
Mercury Hall – Austin, Texas
I met Sabrina and David through a wonderful friend Anhelo. I instantly knew that I wanted to work on their wedding since Sabrina and David had such good souls and sweet personalities. Our meeting went a little longer than most consultations since we started talking about much more than just wedding flowers. I loved the process of working with them and figuring out details that would make their wedding so very special. Sabrina wanted a very natural look to her bouquets, and flower crowns. She collected vintage vases that I was able to adorn with blossoms and surround the tablescapes with loose foliage. All the colored glass vessels that Sabrina collected complimented the stained glass windows of Mercury Hall. Her vision was charming and delightful. As the pictures show love is sweet – especially when the couple is too!

When Jen Q sent me a message to ask if I could talk to her little sister about some wedding flowers I said YES! Little did I know that Priscilla would be the most relaxed bride I have ever seen!!! I loved her laid back style and great sense of humor. Priscilla wanted to keep flowers looking natural and not over the top. She gave me the color palette she wanted to work with and let me do the rest. Priscilla and Brian’s crew were so nice and sweet during set up they fit right in at Texas Old Town. This group showed off exactly what it means to have Texas charm.

I had the privilege of doing wedding flowers for a wonderful couple here in Austin. Michele and James were such a joy to work with. Truly the perfect couple. They picked one of my favorite venues in South Austin – Mercury Hall. It is a hidden gem in the city. The beautiful stained glass windows add so much character to the space. The old oak trees filter the light perfectly for ceremonies. Plus the weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony.
For the bouquets we used a delightful array of roses, garden roses, spray roses, dahlias, and tulips. We added a bit of texture in the bridal bouquet with some succulents, pods, and seeded eucalyptus.
We designed the sweetheart table with a silver compote dish with a lush bedding of mixed greenery and layers of roses, dahlias, stock, hypericum, and spray roses. The guest tables were decorated with mason jars filled with safflower, alstromeria, spider mums, and roses.
I decided to custom build an arch for this wedding. I was very pleased with the end result. It was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. The arch was anchored with planters that held green and blooming plants. I hung vintage lace curtains and tied them back with flowers gatherings.
Thanks for taking a look. Enjoy!
My good friend and former coworker Felicia contacted me to create a few items for a couple in San Antonio. The couple had decided not purchase flowers for their wedding to save some money. Felicia has worked in the floral industry and knows flowers give wedding ceremonies an extra element of beauty. She didn’t want the couple to go without knowing they would have purchased flowers if their budget allowed. Her solution was to offer to buy them as her gift. They accepted and here is what I created.
For the bridal bouquet I used white oriental lilies, lavender roses, pale pink ranunculus, seeded eucalyptus, and foxtail fern. I accented with silver wire and used a textured ribbon to dress the stems. For the boutonniere I kept it clean and simple. A few springs of seeded eucalyptus and a pale pink ranunculus.
